T.net Italia S.r.l. has acquired a particular expertise in finding solutions in health systems, having drafted and implemented projects to integrate digitized health as:

- "Integration of the Regional Health Card to the General Practitioners medical records software and to the software SW@GeS@ developed experimentally for several Operating Units of the Azienda Universitaria Ospedaliera Vittorio Emanuele in Catania)

- the "Clinical management and information flows in Health Care Board"
- "VoIP Communications Systems",
- "The control of Clinical Risk".
Currently the activity is concentrating in the development of planning software for supplementary health systems between hospitals and territorial services of different boards, and accredited facilities SSR(Nursing homes, RSA, Districts, UTAP, etc. ..), with the implementation of Electronic Health Records (FSE) under international and European instructions for the project Large Scale Pilot e-Health; CUP computerized reservation online via the Internet in order to reduce users discomforts and cancel waiting lists, with obvious savings.
T.net Role states:
- In mentoring the organization and functioning of services;
- training of staff (GPs, PLS; ER AUSL, etc);
- in the implementation and reengineering of the computerized and integrate network between units and complexes with other facilities and territorial services;
- The design and development of software solutions ad hoc
- in re-engineering processes, integration within federated field and development of shared Health Services;
- the design and development of web-services for the cooperation infrastructure between Asl, territory, Hospitals, GPs, Region, Ministry of Health, MEF, etc;
- In quality control and clinical risk.
T.net currently operates on three areas:
Systems and solutions for the computerization of the Hospitals and Nursing Homes;
Embedded systems for unified communications over IP, which is the basic infrastructure upon which information keeps going;
Applications and Integrated Engineering Solutions for the Territory with different applications ranging from epidemiology (Cancer Registry, Registers of Pathology), to telemedicine, applications for integration with the regional information systems, solutions for the management, control, monitoring and forecasting of the Environment and for the Environment.
T.net has developed a software project for , which addresses the process of hospital digitalization. It is divided into progressive steps and is designed to implement all the needed elements for a totally digitalized Health Care that will work on in integrating the various structures, divisions and services, with a view to computerization of a company that is not fragmented but unique, or integrating other fragments.
Being in conformity with TSE-IBSE specifics, Software can be integrated at all levels with the territory as the GPs' medical records software or Affiliated Analysis Laboratories or with the national health facilities such as the ASL, the Regions, the Ministry of Health, the Inland Revenue or the MEF. It integrates the ‘strong’ authentication based on Smart Cards and is already prepared for the use of HPC for health professionals and the Patients PDC in the Territory. Moreover, the mechanism of relief of the RFID connection to the HPC card allows the control of the signature mechanism and staff log-on in real time. In fact, the use of Contactless Smart Card Read integrated with the Mobile Clinical Assistant via Bluetooth, disconnects the system access terminal when the health professional turns away from the terminal.
Moreover, the same device can be used for the control and the access management, the localization and management in terms of opening / closing of alarmed doors to properly isolate protected areas.
The software also allows keeping the signature hashes of documents according to CNIPA specifications.
Integrated with the Cisco platform for Unified Communications, it allows access anywhere and anytime with Hospital Information Systems in a safe way and mobility.
Based on the open exchange of the framework HLT-XML3, it allows system integration with all vital parts of a hospital and dialogue with the outside.
