Software for SNOMED CT search with ICDO3-T, ICDO3-M and ICD9-CM correlations

SNOMED CT (Systematized Nomenclature of Medicine - Clinical Terms) is a set of coded medical terms obtained by the College of American pathologists (CAP) in union with UK National Health Service (NHS).  SNOMED CT contains more than one million of clinical concepts as diseases, diagnosis, procedures, microorganisms, pharmaceuticals and more.

SWSCS always uses the last version of SNOMED CT issued by the International Health Terminology Standards Development Organisation IHTSDO. 

We all know about usefulness of a coding system in hospital environments. Completeness and constant updating of SNOMED CT makes it an absolutely essential high quality instrument.

In order to use SNOMED CT coding is very important to use systems with a fast and simple search of terms.

For each clinical concept, SWSCS also propose its description and possible correlations with ICDO3 e ICD9-CM coding systems.

The software also allows:

• Automatic search of ICDO3 correlations
• Automatic search of ICD9-CM correlations
• In the case of results with ICDO3-T correlations it shows ICDO3-M correlations if present
• In the case of results with ICDO3-M correlations it shows ICDO3-T correlations if present
• Several search filters (by correlations, boards search, number of results, etc. )
• Alphabetical Sorting order of results by code or by text
• Searching history with reset of searches
