A critical issue has been faced in order to follow easily the pathologist’s work.
There are four different kinds of users:
- Superuser: he can do anything, including creating, modifying and deleting other users’ data, setting print head and releasing of blocked reports.
- Doctor: he can do anything within the application, except for creating, modifying or deleting other users’ data, nor can he perform actions accessible only to the super user.
- Administration User: he edits records and personal patients’ details and microscopy's tests. He can also stop a group of reports and can print reports and spreadsheets.
- Technical User: He inserts data of technical competence, such as microscopy's description of a test and histological microscope slides .
Another critical addressed issue is the management of material relating to patients with insufficient personal data; the software makes an univoque record to retrieve the patient even if there are incomplete data
System management has also been related to a series of very complete and versatile statistics prints.
We developed a simple and intuitive interface, allowing new user an easy adoption of the software.
